My name is Darian Bird and I am excited to run for a seat on the Board of Trustees. Having moved here at 10 years old, I attended the likes of Bulman Elementary, Hilbert Middle School and graduated from Redford Union High School. Upon graduating from Redford Union, I received my bachelor degree in Political Science, got married and moved BACK to Redford. I've always known that I would serve my com

munity in some fashion, serving the community that help raise and build me. A community that encouraged me to dream big and reach beyond the stars. I have a beautiful family, a wife and THREE kids UNDER the age of 3! Upon moving back to Redford, I have worked in the Clerk's Office as Administrative Assistant and a brief stint as Manager at the Redford Water Department. During election season, I have been Chair of my precinct for TEN years. I have also served on the Redford Festival Committee and a current member of the Redford Democratic Club. I am serious when I say, I am all about working with and within my community. It would truly be my honor to be elected and to represent the 50,000 residents who live in Redford Twp. There are no hidden agendas, I am here to work for YOU.
