The Unforgettables Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1999 to assist families with the cost of providing a dignified burial for their child (22 weeks’ gestation to 18 years old) who has passed away. The mission of The Unforgettables Foundation is to:

• Enable low-income families to give their children a dignified burial.

• Empower communities

to memorialize children who have died.

• Educate parents and children’s caregivers to confront, control, and conquer the primary risks to our children’s health and wholeness.

• Encourage communities to recognize the financial trauma which is often associated with the death of a child.

Grief doesn’t end when the flowers stop arriving or the check-ins become less frequent.

For families who have lost a child, grief continues through ordinary Tuesdays, birthdays, holidays, milestones, and all the quiet moments in between.

And while there may not always be the “right” words, there are still ways to show up. 🤍

Send the text. Remember their child’s name. Mark the important dates. Keep extending the invitation. Share the memory.
