Redlands Police Department Weekly Update (May 21 – May 28)

On Thursday, May 21, officers contacted a man at an adult residential facility on a call for service after he was witnessed by a facility member ma********ng in a common area. The suspect was arrested for indecent exposure and sent to county jail.

A woman was contacted on May 21 after she kicked and hit a vehicle in the intersection of Redlands Blvd. and New Jersey Street. The victim desired prosecution and identified the woman as the suspect. She was arrested for felony vandalism and booked into county jail.

On May 21, a man had arranged to sell a vehicle part and met with three individuals interested in purchasing it. After inspecting the item, the suspects allegedly acted in coordination to forcibly take the part without payment. As the suspects attempted to flee in a vehicle, the victim grabbed the steering wheel, drawing the attention of nearby witnesses and prompting a law enforcement response. One suspect fled the scene on foot, while two suspects were detained at the location and subsequently arrested. During the investigation, one suspect admitted to planning and participating in the robbery. Both arrested suspects were booked into county jail on robbery-related charges.

On Saturday, May 23, officers conducted a traffic stop at the Orange Street/10 Freeway onramp and contacted a driver who was found to have a felony no-bail warrant for his arrest. During a vehicle search, a loaded handgun was located in the center console. The driver was placed under arrest and sent to county jail.

Officers contacted a man in the 100 block of East Redlands Boulevard on Monday, May 25, who was found to be concealing a sword beneath his trench coat and a large cleaver-style knife in one of his pockets. During the investigation, officers also discovered the man was in possession of methamphetamine. The man was arrested and transported to county jail.

On Tuesday, May 26, officers responded to a reported road rage incident in which a suspect allegedly brandished a knife and threatened to stab the victim. Multiple independent witnesses corroborated the victim’s account. During the confrontation, the suspect reportedly struck and kicked the victim, knocking him to the ground, before fleeing the area in a vehicle. The victim was able to provide officers with a description of the vehicle and its license plate number.

Using the department’s automated license plate reader system, dispatchers quickly located the suspect vehicle leaving the area. An officer soon located the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop, and detained the driver. The suspect was positively identified by the victim and subsequently arrested on felony charges. The suspect was booked into county jail, and the vehicle was impounded as part of the investigation.

🚨MISSING JUVENILES🚨

On 05/16/2026, at approximately 0230 hours, 13-year-old Aurora Brunner (AKA: Nora), and 14-year-old Lexi Boykin (AKA: Ash), were last seen leaving a residence in the City of Redlands with backpacks.

The two girls were possibly heading to Pasadena or San Francisco, both in California, or to Texas.

The juveniles had not been heard from or seen since.
