NSP at the U of R is a resource and support service program offered to students on and off the Redlands campus. NSP seeks to engage the community in meaningful work that aims to cultivate future leaders in tribal communities through the pursuit of higher education. NSP is located in the Campus Diversity and Inclusion Department in Hunsaker Center-Current services include Academic Advising, Tutorin

g, and Mentorship-Current partners include the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, The Native American Resource Center, Noli Indian School, San Bernardino City Title VII Indian Education, and the Riverside/San Bernardino County Native American Community Council

❤️ Meet our Keynote speaker for the day - Gerald Clarke (Cahuilla)! Gerald is a member of the Cahuilla Nation, is a celebrated artist, runs the family cattle ranch, and is a professor of Ethnic Studies at University of California Riverside.

❤️ There is still time to sign up for the College Day! Come learn about college options in the day and then talk about education opportunities with your Valentine’s at night.

The College Day will be filled with opportunities for Native students and their families to demystify the college process - hear directly from Native professors, Admissions Officers, and educators on how college will work for you!
