✂️ What a fantastic turn out for the ribbon cutting at Redmond’s Pagliacci grand opening celebration! The line circled the entire block with folks waiting to grab a fresh slice and treats from Molly Moons. I absolutely love that in the remodel of the space they kept the retro garage vibe of the space with lots of chrome details. CVP Angie Nuevacamina and I even chatted with folks who drove up from Renton to celebrate the store opening! There’s still time to drop by and grab a free slice (until 3pm!). Enjoy! 🍕Welcome Pagliacci, we’re clearly excited to have you!

Redmond Fire has deployed an additional Northeast King County Medic One unit to support advanced life support responses in Duvall, Carnation, and nearby communities impacted by the Snoqualmie River flooding. Alongside Eastside Fire & Rescue, our paramedics are delivering lifesaving care and coordinating hospital transports no matter the conditions.

Pictured here is Paramedic David Johansson helping transport a patient via boat with the Northeast King County Medic One team. He was joined by Medical Services Officer (MSO) Liz Tusing. Together, the two responded to cardiac and pediatric patients who needed emergent transport. Dave and Liz bring 50 years of combined EMS service to the valley.

"It’s been a team effort with lots of flexibility," said MSO Tusing.

Even if the roads disappear, the mission stays the same. Thank you to Paramedic Johansson, MSO Tusing, and all the other first responders who are providing assistance during this record flooding. Your diligence and bravery are unmatched.

As more residents choose electric bikes, or e-bikes, for commuting and recreation, prioritizing safety is more important than ever. Riding the wrong type of e-bike in the wrong place or the wrong way can lead to serious injuries or death and have legal consequences for riders and their parents or guardians. Learn more about e-bike safety and how you can help at redmond.gov/e-Bike.

Thrilled to participate in yet another Trunk or Treat at the Redmond Fire Department! This year was my fourth year passing out candy and greeting the kiddos of Redmond and I learned the fourth year of this fantastic event. I absolutely love how this brings out our community and all the creative costumes and little ones! Thank you Redmond WA Fire, Redmond WA Police, and City of Redmond - Parks & Recreation for another fabulous event!
