Ballots have arrived. It's time to vote NO on all of the statewide initiatives. Brian Heywood is like Tim Eyman with a gigantic bank account. And know this: Eyman recently declared himself "the unofficial co-sponsor of all of this year's statewide initiatives." Need we say more? Vote NO on I-2066, I-2109, I-2117, and I-2124. Stop greed and defend Washington!

A longtime Republican operative with a history of filing campaign finance complaints against Democratic causes and PACs today finished orchestrating the eleventh hour filing of two people who are identifying themselves identically to the leading Democratic candidate for Governor of Washington State, Attorney General Bob Ferguson.

The two pretenders claim to be Democrats, having specified a party preference of "Democratic" in their paperwork, but no true Democrat would ever consent to being part of a disgusting and possibly criminal scheme to confuse and mislead voters.

You might think that someone who has been trying to change state law for decades and has sponsored dozens of initiatives seeking to change state law would have acquired a basic understanding of it. But you would be mistaken. Not only is Tim Eyman bad at writing law, he's bad at reading it, too.

The former prolific promoter of initiatives wants to bring a lawsuit to overturn the filing fee increase, but the law expressly gives the Secretary of State the authority to increase the fee.
