UPDATED: The Union Pacific Railroad repair project is expected to complete work Wednesday, July 2 and reopen Middlefield Road that evening. The work will take place on Middlefield Road where the railroad crosses (north of Pacific Avenue and south of Hurlingame Avenue). Access to the Fair Oaks Health Center will remain open. Union Pacific Railroad will be performing railroad repairs, with work expected to last four-full days. The work will take place on Middlefield Road where the railroad crosses (north of Pacific Avenue and south of Hurlingame Avenue). Access to the Fair Oaks Health Center will remain open.

• Most work to take place Friday June 27 through Monday June 30 from 7:30am to 4:00pm.
• Middlefield Road will be closed between Northside Avenue and the Clinic entry.
• Traffic will be detoured starting/ending at Hurlingame Avenue and 2nd Avenue.

Significant pedestrian and vehicular detours will be set up while crews are working. Access will always be provided to the businesses. For questions please contact Peggy Ygbuhay at [email protected] or [email protected].
