Burgers & Bikes: This Weekend! 🍔🚲

The Roy Cloud Dad's Club will be hosting a Burgers and Bikes picnic at Flood Park this Sunday, September 21 at 1:00 pm!

Burgers and Bikes is a very simple event. Just bring your bike and a $20 donation per family for the burgers to enjoy a great day of good food, community, and meeting your schoolmates and parents.

Please RSVP so that we don't waste any food!

You made it through the first full week—way to go! 🎉 The PTO is here to help you plug into our amazing school community.

Here are a few quick things you’ll want to know as we kick off the year.

• Attend PTO Meetings: Get the inside scoop on what’s happening at school, upcoming events and how to get involved.

Meetings are the first Tuesday of everyother month at 7:00PM in the school library. The first meeting is Tuesday,September 2!

• Make your Annual Donation: Roy Cloud is able to offer
amazing programs, events, and support because of the
donations from our parent community. The annual suggested
donation is $800 per student. You can make your donation at
roycloudpto.com or by using the QR code.

• Join Konstella: Stay in the loop! Konstella is the PTO
communication hub for events (Family Dance, Book Fair, school festivals, etc),
volunteer opportunities, important dates, meetings, and more.

• Volunteer: Our events and programs can’t happen without parent volunteers (that’s
you!)! There will be many volunteer opportunities throughout the year! To volunteer on campus, you must be cleared by the District.

A free parenting webinar is available tonight, "How to Navigate Difficult Conversations With Your Kids," led by Dr. Donald Grant, child development and inclusion expert.

The presentation will guide parents through navigating difficult conversations with their children and teens. Whether it's addressing sensitive topics like exclusion, peer pressure, or academic struggles, Dr. Grant will provide practical insights and tools to foster open communication and understanding within the family dynamic.

Parents will leave equipped with valuable techniques to approach challenging discussions with empathy, clarity, and confidence. This presentation is free of charge, sponsored by Sequoia Union High School District, Sequoia Healthcare District, and Peninsula Health Care District, in partnership with The Parent Venture.
