June is Elder Justice Month. Here are three ways you can help.

1) Make older adults part of your community.
2) Don't just talk. Engage.
3) Listen actively.

AgeUp has four volunteer programs where you do these things -- not symbolically, but in practice:

🌟 Friendly Visitors, building companionship with long term care residents
🌟 Kindness Crew, visiting residences for an activity or to perform
🌟 Ombudsman Program, advocating on behalf of residents
🌟 Phone Buddies, calling weekly to chat

No experience required — training provided.
