I had a productive day meeting with various individuals, including business owners in Osceola County. I also canvassed neighborhoods, sent out a batch of handwritten postcards, and visited Yates Township in Lake County.

I would like to extend my gratitude to Supervisor Grier, Code Enforcer Grier, Deputy Clerk Garrett, and Treasurer Patterson for taking the time out of their busy days to speak with me.

Conversations today included transparency, property taxes, accessibility, and township funding. I will resume my efforts tomorrow. It's about having conversations and listening 🇺🇲

My adventure today took me to southern Mecosta County, specifically to the Village of Morley. It is not uncommon for small villages such as this to feel disregarded by Lansing. I wish to assure the public that, irrespective of your place of residence, your concerns are of the utmost importance to me, and if elected, you will certainly have a voice in Lansing and enjoy representation that invites you to share your concerns, regardless of their magnitude.

Hot topics for today: affordability, accountability, property taxes, utilities, transparency and money out of politics just to name a few. 🇺🇲

My position on Mega Data Centers is clear: I am strongly opposed. The recent groundbreaking ceremony for a Megasite, attended by Governor Whitmer and executives, is a stark example of the disregard for community concerns. Despite the disapproval by the community and township board, the company pursued legal action, resulting in a zoning change. This blatant disregard of the public's voice and the potential consequences of these projects, including the loss of agricultural land, energy use, noise and light pollution, and the substantial water requirements for cooling, is alarming. I will always stand with the citizens and their voices will come first.

If you want to reclaim your rightful power, it is essential to research candidates and their positions on these issues. Rather than focusing on the amount of money raised, which shouldn't be a green light but rather a red flag indicating whose interest may come first, it is crucial to prioritize a candidate's commitment to serving the people first.

That's my two cents one thing I've learned through this process is to research and whether I win or lose I will continue to do so and will always cast an informed vote.

I applaud Ralph's willingness to fight. Policy is not law and every single citizen that signed their name to his petitions deserves to have their names verified and counted. This isn't about a candidate for me it's about making sure the voices of the people are heard.

NEW PRESS RELEASE: REBANDT FIGHTS BACK! Benson’s bureau tried to silence 18,214 Michigan voters with a process even Whitmer said was illegal. See you in court Jocelyn!

Why should citizens be responsible for funding utility companies' personal property tax elimination?
