Important Update for the Reedley Community!
The Sequoia Safety Council, in collaboration with the California Department of Health Care Services, has announced a crucial initiative – the Narcan Distribution Project. Running from March 1 through May 30, 2024, they are dedicated to combating the opioid crisis that's impacting our communities.
What’s Happening?
They are providing FREE Narcan nasal spray, the life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. This initiative is designed to make Narcan accessible to all, especially those who might otherwise not have access. You can obtain it anonymously and at no cost.
Where and When?
Drop by their office at 500 E. 11th St., Reedley, CA, during regular business hours to receive 2 doses of Narcan, no questions asked, while their supplies last.
Why This Matters?
Narcan is a crucial tool in saving lives during opioid overdose situations. The goal is to empower our community by making this emergency treatment readily available.
Privacy and Empowerment
Your privacy is a priority. All Narcan recipients will remain anonymous. Each kit comes with a FAQ sheet and brief training, ensuring you’re prepared to use it effectively.
