This month, Adam Powell is celebrating 21 years of dedicated service with the Reedsburg Fire Department.
Members of the fire department often describe it as their second family, and for Adam, that couldn't be more true. Fire service is a proud family tradition that spans generations.
Adam's grandfather, John Scoles, served the department for 20 years. His brother, Josh Powell, has been a member for 7 years, and his brother-in-law, Jerry Horkan, has nearly 7 years of service. The tradition continues with his cousins: Steve Dempsey, who has served for 27 years, Hunter Dempsey, with 5 years of service, and Charlee Dempsey, who has been a member for 3 years.
Congratulations, Adam, on 21 years of service and for carrying on such an incredible family tradition. Thank you for your dedication to the Reedsburg Fire Department and the community you serve.
