After careers in journalism, social work, and hospitality management, Mr. Brown is returning to his passion for teaching English Language Arts. An Upper Peninsula native, he enjoys reading, writing, cheering on the Saginaw Spirit and Detroit Lions, and working on his debut novel.

In May, through the Frankenmuth Credit Union Foundation for Our Communities, six area middle and high schools, including Reese, each received $1,890 to support their student food pantries and assistance programs.

For Heidi Schuler, high school was eventful, stressful, and full of surprises. One of her favorite memories was her freshman track season, where teammates quickly became friends and made her first year unforgettable.

Inspired by the goals she has set for her future, Heidi will attend Northwood University to study Automotive Aftermarket Management, with dreams of opening her own automotive wrapping shop.

Some of Benjiman Weber's favorite memories were made in Mrs. Pickell's class, but his proudest accomplishments came from his consistency and determination, graduating and achieving perfect attendance during his senior year!

Benjiman plans to begin a career in construction and carpentry, with dreams of being healthy, successful, and one day owning his own business. He hopes to make a lasting impact by building homes, supporting businesses, and creating opportunities for others.

Congratulations, Benjiman! We're excited to see what you'll build next. 🚀

Diamond plans to enter the workforce while continuing to pursue a passion for writing. Looking ahead, Diamond hopes for a happy, fulfilling life and lives by the words of J.R.R. Tolkien: "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
