The Rehoboth Police Department would like to thank Erica Denison, John Pereira and Filomena Kuchar of the Waring-Sullivan Birchrest Funeral & Cremation Service located in Swansea, Ma. for stopping by with some pastries for members of the department in honor of National Police Week. Detective Paul McGovern and Detective Arthur Beaudoin accepted these pastries on behalf of the department.

The Rehoboth Police Department is strengthening regional partnerships to support victims of domestic violence.
Domestic Violence Officer Kandice LaGue and Cathy Rivello of The Women’s Center met with Easton Police Department staff to discuss response procedures, victim services, collaboration, and best practices.
These efforts help ensure victims have access to advocacy, mental health support, and law enforcement resources while promoting trauma-informed, victim-centered care. The department values ongoing collaboration with neighboring agencies to keep communities safe and supported

The Rehoboth Police Department would like to congratulate Sergeant Ryan Brule of the Yarmouth, Massachusetts Police Department on his promotion to the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Brule began his career in law enforcement with the Rehoboth Police Department in 2010. He served as a Patrol Officer with the Rehoboth Police Department until 2015 when he transferred to the Yarmouth Police Department. Rehoboth Police Chief Louis DiBacco was present at the Yarmouth Board of Selectmen’s
meeting earlier this evening when Sgt. Brule was promoted.

Earlier this evening the Rehoboth Police Department Honor Guard Hosted their 1st annual Claim Boil Fundraiser. The funds collected from this event will help the members of the Honor Guard to pay for uniforms and buy needed equipment necessary for them to present the colors.
