The Rembrandt Firefighters Association is proud to announce the addition of a Grain Bin Rescue Auger to our technical rescue equipment. πŸš’πŸŒ½

Grain bin rescues are extremely complex and dangerous situations. They involve confined spaces, poor ventilation and air quality, specialized equipment, and intense physical demands on rescuers. Having the proper tools available can make a critical difference when seconds matter.

This life-saving piece of equipment was made possible thanks to the generosity of AgState and Land O' Lakes. Their support helps ensure our firefighters are equipped to respond to emergencies not only in our community, but in neighboring communities as well.

Please join us in thanking them for their partnership and their commitment to keeping our rural communities safe! πŸ‘

With the impending winter storm that is moving in this weekend we will be postponing our omelet breakfast to the following Sunday December 7th. Keeping everyone safe is our ultimate goal. We would rather see you the following Sunday than to see you in an accident! Thanks for understanding and hope to see you December 7th!

We are excited to share that the Rembrandt Firefighters Association received a $1,000 grant from Alliant Energy to help replace some of our personal protective equipment!

With this generous support, we were able to purchase new structural firefighting gloves, extrication gloves, Nomex hoods, and a helmet-mounted flashlight. These items are an essential part of every firefighter’s gear and serve as our first line of defense on any fire scene.

A huge **thank you to Alliant Energy** for supporting our department and investing in the safety of our volunteers.

Alliant Energy is committed to making a positive difference in the communities where its employees, retirees, and customers live and work, and we’re grateful for their partnership. πŸš’πŸ”₯✨
