The administrative staff and officers would like to thank all the dispatchers at the Twinsburg Police Department who provide dispatching services for our cities police and fire departments. They are often heard but rarely ever seen or given the appreciation they deserve. We could not do our job without them.

From Mayor Sam Alonso: Extreme Weather Announcement
There is a winter storm warning for this weekend with significantly cold temperatures through next week. Residents who need a place to stay warm in the event of loss of heat, electricity, and/or water, the Reminderville Fire Department at 3382 Glenwood Blvd is open as a warming center.
We advise you to stay indoors and only leave home if you absolutely must. Check on your neighbors, especially those who are elderly or disabled. To prevent frozen pipes, run a thin stream of water from a faucet. Stay warm and stay safe!

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is mourning the loss of Trooper Nicholas P. Trooper Cayton was assisting a disabled commercial vehicle at the time of the crash.
“Today, the Patrol lost a member of our family. This is a tragedy for the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Ohio Department of Public Safety”, said Colonel Charles A. Jones, Patrol Superintendent. “Our prayers go out to the Cayton family during this difficult time.”

The Reminderville Police Department has created a Special Needs Registry which is a no cost, voluntary service open to any individuals with special needs who reside or work in the City of Reminderville. The purpose of the registry is to help law enforcement and first responders better assist special needs residents in an emergency situation or a police encounter. Individuals can register themselves, or they can be registered by a family member or a caretaker. Please see below link for more information and a link to the form itself.

The purpose is to provide an opportunity for voluntary reporting of such persons with "special needs" due to mental or neurological disabilities who reside in Reminderville, by the person themselves or an adult famil...
