🚒 Throw-Way-Back to 1996! 🚒

A special thank you to Dawn Ashby for sharing this piece of Re*****on Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department history.

Pictured are retired RVFRD Fire Chiefs Wally Rich and Will Ashby, along with Life Member M.L. Fraz.

At the time this video was recorded, the engine was only two years old. It looked sharp, sounded great, and proudly served the citizens of Re*****on and the surrounding community. Even more impressive, this same engine continues to serve today with the Fauquier County Fire Rescue System Training Divison.

Take a moment to enjoy this glimpse into our department’s history and the members who helped build the tradition of service that continues today.

The RVFRD volunteers will be at the firehouse TODAY from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM selling the last remaining raffle tickets and RVFRD t-shirts!

Online ticket sales are now CLOSED, so this is your final chance to get your tickets in person before the drawing!

The raffle winners will be drawn LIVE at NOON, so stop by, grab your tickets, pick up a shirt, and help support your Re*****on Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.

The Spring Bash Raffle drawing will take place on Saturday, May 30th at Noon!

We had a blast yesterday at the Town of Re*****on, Virginia touch a truck event! The weather was gorgeous, the crowd was huge, and as expected- the fire trucks were a fan favorite with our future firefighters! Huge thank you to the Town for planning and organizing this years event, we can’t wait for next years!!

We need one more push, Re*****on!

The Re*****on Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department Spring Bash Raffle still has around 300 tickets left to sell before we can do the live drawing!

If you’ve been thinking about getting a ticket, now is the time! Every ticket purchased helps support your local heroes — the men and women who show up for our community day and night when they’re needed most.

We are hoping to do the LIVE drawing in the middle of May if the remaining tickets sell, so help us spread the word, tag your friends, and grab your tickets now!

Today proved to be a busy day for Re*****on firefighters! While coordinating and executing today’s Spring Bash, members responded to three separate emergency incidents. An EMS lift assist, traffic crash, and inside gas leak were all dispatched and handled throughout the day. Rescue and Tanker 2 were proudly staffed by our members during the event. We could not be more grateful for all of your continued support!
