May has also been all about celebrating!

With the help of several amazing community partners we celebrated teachers and staff for teacher appreciation week.

At our final PTA meeting of the year we honored this year’s Lifetime Membership recipients Pat Olson and Kim White for their dedication to the Tarver-Rendon community. We recognized the artists who participated in the annual PTA Reflections art program.

In November we took a breather to gear up for December.

In December the school was transformed for winter parties, students were able to shop for gifts for friends and loved ones, Cell Phone Sally brought us her Smart Safety Rally, and we cruised on to Winter Break!

October was when we really started having fun! Our Dads & Dudes hosted their first campout and families were treated to a night of hot dogs, s’mores, popcorn, and a movie. Students and their families were able to camp overnight at the school and ended their morning with donuts and coffee!

We also helped host the annual Trunk or Treat and Glow Ride. Families provided candy, treats, and trunks for the community to come enjoy a safe evening of family fun!

In September our Roadrunners “sold” the month and raised money to pay for field trips, fun school wide events, and winter/end of the year parties.

We kicked off the year with our first PTA meeting and hosted spirit night at Chipotle!
