Rennerdale Volunteer Fire Department

09/28/2026

We here at Rennerdale VFD want to take a moment to thank all those who came out on Saturday showing support for our grand reopening! We had an amazing time with neighbors and families from around the area while the kids fished all day!

Also, a special thanks to all those companies who spent time and helped our department along the way rehabilitating our beloved neighborhood pond!

We look forward to hosting our kids fishing derby again next year!

Our volunteers spent the evening training on rope repelling and staying sharp on their cliff rescue skills while simultaneously hanging our beloved American flag for this year's Rock the Quarry!!

Come see the flag for yourself lit up beautifully at the panhandle trail this Friday and Saturday evening and don't forget to stop by our tent and grab some amazing food!

Rock the quarry, tap your toes,
On the trail where adventure flows!
Skip the pebbles, climb the knolls,
Marching toward those egg rolls.
Hear the crunch beneath your boots,
Past the trees and twisted roots.
Shake the dust and strike a pose,
For the finest fire department doughs!
Crunchy, crispy, golden fried,
Waiting on the other side.
Hurry up and rock the stone,
Don't let your appetite groan!

See you all this Friday August 28th and Saturday August 29th for some amazing food and great music!!
