🗣️🗣️Attention all Wolves! 🐺This application helps determine if our school qualifies for additional funding for the state. Even if your family doesn’t personally qualify, filling this out can help other students at our school to continue to receive free or reduced lunches.

Providing nutrition programs to 64,000+ students within Washoe County School District. Good nutrition is essential for sound academic performance, and we look forward to working together with schools, parents, and our community to achieve those results.

Reminder that our Wolf/Color Run will be very messy! Be sure to send your students in last year’s wolf run shirt, a plain white shirt, or something you don’t mind them getting dirty. Please have your students wear tennis shoes and bring a full water bottle. It’s going to be a great afternoon! Don’t forget to turn in your pledge envelopes if you haven’t already!

We are approaching the end of the 23-24 school year, and the students are definitely getting excited. The last day for all Kindergarten-5th grade students is June 10th😊. There are quite a few other noteworthy calendar events and some different release times for students during our last 9 days of school. Please see the list of activities and release times below.

Wednesday, May 29th- Students are released at 2:15

Monday, June 3rd- The Kindergarten Celebration 2:15-3:00. Students are released at 3:00.

Tuesday, June 4th – *Winnemucca Wolf Run. Students are released at 3:00

Wednesday, June 5th – Students are released at 2:15

Thursday, June 6th – *Winnemucca Field Day. Students are released at 3:00

Friday, June 7th – *Winnemucca 5th grade kickball game at 1:30. Students are released at 3:00

Monday, June 10th –The 5th grade parade is from 12:00-12:50. This is the last day of school for all Kindergarten-5th grade students! Students will be released at 12:50.

*Please note: Students will be out on the playground during many of these activities. If you plan on picking up your student early during the wolf run, field day, or the 5th grade kickball game, please know there will be a longer wait time than usual for pickup. We value your patience and understanding.

We appreciate all your support this year and hope everyone has a fun, safe, and wonderful summer break. We look forward to hearing all about your special summer activitiest in August 😊 Students return for the 24-25 school year on Monday, August 12th, 2024.
