Great article from Canada's National Observer highlighting the growing challenge of lithium-ion battery fires and the emerging solutions addressing this critical gap in fire protection.

One example featured is the Quebec e-bike shop owner whose after-hours lithium-ion battery fire was captured on security video. By having an EFIREX TRPL-E fire extinguisher on hand and using the right agent for the extreme heat output of a lithium-ion battery fire, he was able to successfully extinguish the fire under one minute and save his business before it became a catastrophic loss.
