Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada Adoption Program Adoption Services We provide free crisis pregnancy counseling with no obligation for our services.

The Adoption Program is available to help guide and support expectant mothers, couples, and their families through the decision making process regarding adoption. We are also available to assist families with the application and home study process should they wish to grow their family through adoption. The Social Worker completes a comprehensive, extensive home study that meets all legal requireme

nts. That enables us to provide a pool of families that birth parents can choose from to select the best family for their child, should they decide to place their child for adoption. In addition, since we are a licensed child placing agency, we can offer assistance to couples or birth parents with the adoption process, who do not both reside in the State of Nevada, through the Interstate Compact laws.

At Catholic Charities, we truly care about expectant mothers, couples, and their families. The issues surrounding pregnancy and adoption can sometimes be confusing but Catholic Charities are here to help, offering assistance in the extremely difficult process of deciding whether to parent or to make an adoption plan. A loving option, adoption may be the choice that is best for expectant parents and their children, now and in the future.
