I'll keep you informed of news and events and you'll learn more about what the City Clerk's Office is responsible for and can do for you. I am a Rensselaer native married to Mike for 42 years with three grown sons and triplet grandchildren. I began my government career in 2011 alongside longtime City Clerk, Maureen Nardacci, as her Deputy Clerk and then City Clerk in 2014. I currently hold that po
sition after being re-elected in 2017. In my time as City Clerk, I have been responsible for the creation of the new, user friendly, City Website which promotes government transparency and now has the convenient option of online bill payment for city residents. I was responsible for the re-birth of our “Christmas in the City” event and I work tirelessly as a key member of the Memorial Day Parade Committee. I am a past member of the Rensselaer City Zoning Board of Appeals. My unbiased dedication and commitment to our City, its citizens and surrounding Rensselaer County community is evidenced by my membership in the Rensselaer Kiwanis, the Rensselaer Eagles Women’s Auxiliary, the Rensselaer County Heroin Coalition and the Rensselaer County Recovery Helpline. I am also Founder and Chair of RADAR (Rensselaer Area Drug Awareness Reality Coalition) which is a group of community members who have come together to raise awareness and identify services to reduce youth alcohol and drug use and I'm member of the Rensselaer Community Advisory Council for Project Aware. I was also instrumental in the placement of a School Resource Officer in the Rensselaer City School District; an achievement that I am very proud of. My background is in customer service and my last position in the private sector was Supervisor of Customer Service Quality for United Healthcare where I was employed for 28 years. In terms of day-to-day operations of the City Clerk’s Office, I am dedicated and happy to go to work every day to help everyone, from everywhere to the best of my ability, every single time. Outstanding customer service is my goal and I believe that my reputation reflects that. I would love the opportunity to serve the good people of Rensselaer for four more years and if re-elected I will continue to provide all of the services that I have in the past to the very best of my ability. I would like to use the next four years to work with other Elected Officials and Community Members to revise our City Charter; continue to digitize our historic paper files and strive to create a more paperless environment. I would appreciate your vote in November. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
