Today, we take a moment to honor and remember Candace Shyer, a truly remarkable individual whose generosity and compassion left a lasting imprint on the lives of so many. 💙

Candace was a steadfast supporter of our Lee Dyer Families and our shelter community, giving not only a substantial amount of her time and resources, but also her heart to our mission. Her kindness uplifted families in their most challenging moments, and her legacy continues to inspire the work we do every day.

Recently, members of Candace’s congregation visited the shelter to present a beautiful plaque in her honor. This meaningful tribute stands as a reminder of her unwavering dedication, her spirit of service, and the powerful difference one person can make in a community.

We are deeply grateful for Candace’s life, her generosity, and the love she shared with us all. She will always be remembered and forever cherished.
