Check out this native plant workshop, hosted by the Jasper County Soil & Water Conservation District!

Join JCSWCD and Rensselaer Parks for a hands-on Rain Garden Workshop! 🌱

Learn how to design a rain garden, then put your knowledge into action by helping restore the rain garden at Potawatomi Park. Participants will plant native species while learning how to incorporate rain gardens into their own landscapes.

No experience is needed. Bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to make a difference in our local community!

📅 Date: Wednesday, October 21, 2026

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (CST)

📍Morning Location: Jasper County Public Library – Rensselaer Branch (208 W. Susan St., Rensselaer, IN 47978)

📍Afternoon Location: Potawatomi Park (155 N. Austin Ave., Rensselaer, IN 47978)

💲Cost: $20 per person

🎩 A CENTURY OF SERVICE… and he has a story to tell!

Rensselaer Rotary is getting ready to celebrate a very special milestone — 100 Years of Service in 2027! 💙💛

This year, our Scarecrow Trail entry at Milroy Park is taking us back to where it all began. Dressed for another era and carrying a reminder of the generations of Rotarians who came before us, he represents nearly a century of Service Above Self in Rensselaer.

1927 → 2027
100 years of friendships.
100 years of giving back.
100 years of serving our community.

And we’re just getting started with the celebration! 🎉
