Arts Impact, and independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is a comprehensive professional development arts program for classroom teachers. What We Do

Arts Impact brings high quality arts education experiences to students by training classroom teachers to use the arts in their day-to-day teaching. Through a two-year program, Arts Impact offers classes, workshops and mentorships, training teachers to bring

dance, music, media arts, theater and visual arts into their classrooms and their core curriculum. All Arts Impact programs align with the Washington State Academic Learning Standards in the Arts and other core subjects.

🎨 Unrestricted $5,000 Awards for WA Teaching Artists 🎨

Allied Arts Foundation is seeking WA-based visual artists who consider teaching a meaningful part of their artistic practice—whether through K–12 education, community arts programs, higher education, or other forms of teaching and learning.

Who can apply?
• Visual artists of any medium
• Artistic medium and teaching discipline can differ
• 18+ and living in Washington State
• Early- or mid-career artists
• Not currently enrolled as a student
• No teaching certificate required

Your application should demonstrate both your artistic practice and teaching experience. No project proposal, budget, or needs statement is required.
