Time to make room on your shelves!

Our annual booksale is right around the corner. Now is a good time to go through your "have read" and "won't ever read" piles and set them aside to donate. We will be in the park on Thursday September 17 to take them off your hands.

What a great way to wrap up the Summer Learning Program at our local library! 🎠

Thank you to everyone's donations and support of our fundraisers through the year. Your dollars and volunteer time go directly to our library to help put on fun events for our community.

FORL got a REALLY BIG CHECK!

Community partners and FORL members gathered at the building site to accept a giant check from Kinross leadership, representing the $1 million gift from Kinross towards the future Library, Childcare, and Community center.

We didn't play the lottery but instead we hit the jackpot in having a partner like Kinross who has supported the project since day one and who believes in the value of Community. Thank you once again to Kinross for their generosity.

Thank you to Midway Building Supply for donating the seeds we got to hand out in the Prosepctor Days parade. They went perfectly with the Summer Library Program theme, which is "Plant a seed, Read!"

There is still time to join the Summer Library Program. All ages welcome amd you can win awesome prizes. Sign up online or at your local library.

We hosted a 🌼 Garden Party 🌼 to celebrate our achievements and update our partners on the status of the building project. Food was purchased from local businesses and a dessert auction was held to raise money for the Summer Learning Progam at the library. The party favor was a packet of sunflower seeds to help "grow a library".

We want to thank all of our partners and donors who have supported this project. This dream began in 2021 and we are making it a reality.
