The recent winds have - and continue - to play havoc on the condition of the cemetery. If you have flowers/decor of any kind at the cemetery and would like to keep it, please locate and remove in the next few days. The regular April 1 clean up will likely have to happen much sooner!

Building permits: With spring coming, i anticipate an increase in building, addition and replacements. Please reach out so I can help with these projects and make sure you are in compliance with the township zoning regulations.

Adams Township is seeking to fill the position of Zoning Inspector. Qualified candidate would be responsible for issuing building permits, handling complaints and other zoning related tasks. This is a PRN position, paid monthly with an expectation of 5-10 hours of work a month. We do require quarterly reports and occasionally attending board meetings. Adams Township Board of Trustees meets the second and last Monday of each month, at 7pm, at the Adams Township Hall at the corner of Township Road 148 and Township Road 179, Republic. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. The Annual Financial Report has been prepared and submitted to the Auditor of the State of Ohio. This report is available upon request from the Township Fiscal Officer. Have a Safe and Healthy New Year!
