Along with the arrest warrant, a search warrant was also obtained for the property and vehicles of Daem. The search warrant was to locate any personal belongings of Baez. While executing the search warrant a white substance was on the TV stand in plain sight. Also in a storage room that Baez had been occupying was located a loaded 12 ga shotgun and items belonging to Baez, including his jail ID card from Albuquerque. The search warrant was amended to include fi****ms and narcotics. Several other fi****ms were seized along with several ounces of m**h. A scale with m**h residue was also located, which will lead to additional charges filed one Daem, including trafficking of narcotics.
The property of Daem had been under surveillance since the night Baez had fled from CCSO deputies. It was discovered that night that Baez was staying at the property with Daem. Daem was made aware of Baez being a wanted felon at that time and aware of the consequences of doing so. Baez was also driving a vehicle that belonged to Daem when he was arrested yesterday
Both Baez and Daem will both be charged additional felony charges.
