Reminder: Madison County Treasurer’s Office will be closed Friday, November 28th in lieu of the Juneteenth holiday to accommodate tax payers before the June 2nd half property tax deadline.

The Treasurer’s Office will remain open today, Thursday June 19th, despite the federal holiday in order to accept property tax payments before the due date.

PSA…only 3 days left until 1st half of 2024 taxes are due! Be sure to physically take them into the post office and have them postmarked by Dec 20th if you plan to mail your payment or penalties will be assessed. Merry Christmas!🎄

This year we will be closed on June 20th for the new Federal Holiday, Juneteenth! We will be accepting 2nd half property tax payments as current until 5 pm in our office on Tuesday June 21st. If you’re unable to drop in, be sure to have your payment postmarked by the due date to avoid penalty and interest charges.

Early voting for the new Madison School District bond begins today at the Madison County Clerk’s Office and will end on March 4 at 5 pm. You can also request an absentee ballot be mailed to you up until February 25 at 5 pm if it’s difficult for you to get out in this cold weather. Drop by the Clerk’s Office today or call their office for questions 208-359-6244.

Reminder - The second half of 2020 property taxes are due June 20, 2021. Because that day falls on Sunday, the Madison County Treasurer's Office will accept payments without penalty and interest until Monday, June 21, 2020. Be sure payments are postmarked on or before June 21st in order to avoid penalty and interest charges.
Also, we have a drop box on the east side of the building for those who are unable to make it in to our office. Please include your payment stubs to ensure correct posting. If you have questions about your property tax, call the Treasurer's Office at 208-359-6264.
