On May 1 we held a Groundbreaking Ceremony for our new District landfill in Newdale. The landfill has been 14 years in the making, and we are thrilled about all the progress! None of this could have happened without the collaboration, dedication, and perseverance of so many wonderful people.

A huge thank you to Governor Brad Little, State Controller Brandon Woolf, and all the Idaho Land Board Members; past District Board Members Rep. Jon Weber and Lee Miller; current Board Members Scott Kamachi, Cindy Riegel (on behalf of Michael Whiftield), McCoy Ward, and Chairman Todd Smith; USDA-RD representatives Cindy Axne, Rudy Soto, Noel LaRoque, Taylor Pratt, Forsgren Associates, Inc., GreatWest, DeAtely, Bank of Commerce, Western States CAT, and Cameron Arial and Clearwater Financial, Darby Ponzenel, Sonnie Haws, and many more.
