Madison County Mosquito Abatement We as a county have a zero tolerance policy which means we are after all mosquitoes with no mercy. We have 2 types of treatment for mosquito"s.

The one that you may know and see frequently is called Adulticiding. Adulticiding is where we use pressure to mist a pesticide that will adult mosquitoes. This is called Fogging it is what we do with our trucks late at night. Now the other type that you may not know is called Larvaciding. This is where we use pesticide to treat the larvae, so that they are unable to hatch into adult flying mosquitoes. This treatment is done during the day with many different types of pesticide.
