All homes and campgrounds north of Heise, extending north to Lyons Creek Road/10000 South and east to 7000 East, just west of Luthy Meadows, are now under an evacuation order.

🔥 Fire is threatening the area. Leave immediately. Do not delay or attempt to remain in the area.

⚠️ Please listen to and follow the instructions of deputies and fire personnel. These directions are in place to keep everyone safe and allow emergency crews to operate effectively.

We had a great time meeting with the Region 7 Democrats today! It’s exciting to see all the good things our fellow counties and Legislative Districts are doing, as well as sharing our own wins ☺️

We also talked about water - about conservation, where we’re sitting as a state (and region), and how water rights affect our fellow Idahoans. Given the warm winter we had this year, we must do what we can to conserve water 💙

Region 7 comprises of Madison, Bonneville, Jefferson, Teton, Fremont, Clark, Custer, and Lemhi counties (as well as their respective Legislative Districts).

It’s a great day to be an Eastern Idaho Democrat!

This weekend was one to remember! We started out on Friday with Lori Hickman for Idaho Attorney General’s Meet-and-Greet in the morning, with Ellie for Idaho’s campaign stopping by for the Party in the Park in the evening.

Saturday morning found our group in the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce’s 4th of July Parade! We were happy to use our float to highlight just a few of the many Democrats running for office here in Idaho. There was a great crowd and the energy was amazing! It was a great day to be a Democrat 💙

A big, BIG thank you to everyone who donated - whether it be time, resources, candy, the trailer, or the car to pull the trailer - you helped make this happen. We’re so happy with how it all turned out!

While days may feel dark, and that there isn’t much to celebrate, it’s important to remember what we do have. What we’re fighting for. And the community we’re working to protect and build.

If you’ve thought about getting more involved with the Madison County Dems, now is a great time! We would love to have you!
