Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Ron graduated in Economics from the University of Utah and University of Connecticut. For 25 years, Ron has helped nearly 10,000 students understand the blessings of
America’s free-market economic system. He married Maria Olsen of Idaho Falls; they have four children (ages 18, 21, 23, & 25) and are active community members. He was first elected to the I

daho Legislature in 2014, and he has been instrumental in defending 2 nd Amendment rights for Idahoans. He successfully sponsored legislation to save children from abortion, protect the 2nd amendment, and reduce taxes.
