Over the past four days two members traveled to FDTN for their RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) Class.

The class covered firefighter survival, firefighter RIT operations, and the class capped off with realistic firefighter rescue scenarios. They finished the training off with a “Train the Trainer” day where the members learned the in’s and out’s of the class so they can better bring what they learned home.

FDTN offers a wide range of classes under realistic conditions to give our members the best training opportunities possible.

Several members traveled to Indianapolis over the last few days for a fire company officer class at FDTN. FDTN offers a wide range of classes under live fire conditions to give our members the best training opportunities possible.

Truro Township is mourning the loss of Firefighter Tyler Norwood, who passed away in the early hours this morning. Firefighter Norwood served his community with dedication and pride. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tyler’s family, friends, and our brothers and sisters in the fire service as we navigate this loss together.
