Rhinebeck’s “Movies Under the Starrs,” a joint presentation of the Rhinebeck Recreation Department, the Rhinebeck Lions Club, and the Starr Library continues on Tuesday, August 12th with the showing of “Inside Out”. The movie will begin at 8:00 PM at the pavilion at the Thompson-Mazzarella Town Park. This showing is sponsored by the Starr Library. There is no charge for this program. Come out and enjoy the show and bring some friends!

Unfortunately, we have made the decision to close. The radar has stayed consistent. We will be feeding the campers lunch shortly, and will head to the library at 12:45. We will be dismissing from there. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!

Hi Parents.

I am still holding out hope that we will be open for the day, but as we’ve been checking the radar it’s looking less certain. Our plan is to play some games under the pavilion while we can. There’s a break in the weather around 1:00, which is when we will go to the library. However, the weather is not entirely predictable, so I’m asking that everyone make arrangements to pick campers up early in the event I have to close. As always, safety is our priority. I will send another email to officially close if necessary.

After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot called Roz is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island's animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose.
