Families will have the opportunity to provide input this semester on the high school rezoning process in advance of the opening of Davis High School in 2027. Northwest ISD will consider high school boundaries throughout the district to provide the best long-term stability and minimize future rezoning. Book Fair Schedule!

Good Morning,

Bookfair is around the corner.

The book fair shopping week is September 10th-18th. The students' shopping times will be during their ELA blocks. I will be open from 8:25-8:50 and during lunches. I will not be open after school. I will be open during our open house on September 17th. You and your student can come shop at the bookfair and learn about our new reading program beanstack.I highly encourage using the e-wallet feature from scholastic so your student has the money loaded and ready to go and won't have to keep up with their schedule and money. Also, if they don't spend the whole amount on their e-wallet you can shop online with it at scholastic.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: I have a sign up genius for volunteers! Come hang out with me and all grade levels at the bookfair. Please make sure you have done the background check and volunteer 101 through the district.

This yearโ€™s books were carefully selected by Northwest ISD Middle School Library Media Specialists and include a variety of genres, reading levels, and themes. All Book Brawl selections are available for check out through the school library, so there is no cost to participate.

Northwest ISD partners with Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students), a nationwide program designed to bring dads, grandfathers, uncles and other male role models into our schools.

As a Watch D.O.G.S. volunteer, youโ€™ll have the opportunity to:
- Be a positive role model for students.
- Support teachers and staff throughout the day.
- Strengthen your bond with your child by being part of their world at school.

No matter how much time you give โ€” whether itโ€™s a full day, an hour or just 30 minutes โ€” you'll make an impact. That one day can inspire students, create memories and show your child how much you care.

Join us in creating a safe, supportive and engaging environment for students!

***Sign Up Genius for CTMS Events will be sent out via parent square and email once forms are filled out. Please fill out by Sept. 11th. ***
