Rialto Water Services is rolling out an $8 million grant-funded Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Program to upgrade over 12,000 outdated water meters with smart technology! 💧

Following meter audits completed earlier this year, we are getting ready for the next phase of replacements. Here is what to expect in the coming months:

📬 Pre-Installation Notice: You’ll receive a postcard in the mail before work begins in your neighborhood.
🚪 Installation Completion: Crews will leave a door tag at your residence once your new meter is installed.
🗓️ Citywide Schedule: A finalized timeline will be released soon.

With zero extra costs for residents, this project provides more accurate billing, faster leak detection and better access to your household water usage data.

📚🚧 Rialto Branch Library Closure Update

The Rialto Branch Library is temporarily closed as we get to work on some exciting improvements! ✨

During the closure, the branch will be receiving updates including a new Animaker space and a refreshed storytime area designed to create even more opportunities to learn, create, and connect.

We anticipate reopening in late September and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to a refreshed library! 💙

In the meantime, we encourage you to visit one of our other San Bernardino County Library locations.
