Rice Lake is a community of 8320 located in northwest Wisconsin. The school district covers 241 square miles and is one of the largest communities located between Eau Claire (60 miles), Duluth/Superior (100 miles), and the Twin Cities (100 miles). The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire– Barron County as well as the Northwood Technical College are within the Rice Lake community. Non-discrimination

The Rice Lake Boys Golf Team wrapped up the State Tournament with an outstanding 3rd-place finish!

The team battled until the very end. More importantly, they represented Rice Lake with class, sportsmanship, and pride throughout the tournament.

Congratulations on an incredible season! We are proud of everything this team accomplished!

Our boys golf team is playing for a state title today! They’re currently leading by four strokes ahead of Winneconne and Lake Country Lutheran. Ben Vande Voort led the way yesterday with an even par 72, and Kiefer Kucko is sitting in the top ten. They just teed off a little bit ago at University Ridge. Let's wish them luck today!

Goodbye 4K. It’s been fun!
Look out Kindergarten! Here I come.

This program is designed for students who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2026.

Location: Hilltop Elementary School
Dates: June 8- August 14, 2026
Monday - Friday
Available from 6:00am - 5:30pm
Who: 4 & 5 year-olds who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall
Cost: $200/week

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please send snacks for a morning and afternoon snack for your child.
Bus transportation will not be provided

RLASD 4K Summer Club provides a safe environment for all children with a play-based approach to learning.

Focus on social and emotional competencies:
Identify and manage emotions
Develop social awareness, getting along with others, and building relationships
Problem solving

These competencies are taught through whole group learning, small group activities, and teacher-supported play-based learning.

Continued development of Early Literacy, Early Math, Science and Social Studies inquiry along with fine motor skills.

RLASD 4K Summer Club students will also participate in the RLASD Summer Academy, which also takes place at Hilltop Elementary. The dates are June 15 - 25 (Session 1) and July 27 - August 6 (Session 2), and classes run Monday through Thursday mornings.
