High Bridge Trail State Park The Historic Landmark of this day-use park stands 125 feet above the Appomattox River. Enjoy various access points, multiple side trails and a visitor center. B.

Once a rail bed, High Bridge Trail offers 32.2 miles of ideal hiking, biking and horseback. DCR's social media activities are intended to present agency matters of public interest to clients, businesses and visitors. DCR encourages users to submit questions and comments but asks users to remain civil and on topic.

Did you know our park is home to one of the longest recreational bridges in the United States? The impressive High Bridge is more than 2,400 feet long and stands 125 feet above the Appomattox River. 🏞️

Come hike, bike or ride horseback on our 32-mile trail that was once a rail bed. It's wide, level and generally flat, with a finely crushed limestone surface that makes for an enjoyable ride! 🚵🏽

In this position, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills while connecting with your love for nature and the outdoors. 💚🌲

Minimum Qualifications:
🛠️ Combination of experience and/or training in one or more of the following: building, grounds, or equipment maintenance.
🛠️ General knowledge of the use and care of common hand tools, as well as cleaning supplies and equipment.

Additional Considerations:
🛠️ Experience in grounds maintenance and equipment operation.
🛠️ Experience leading or supervising others.
