The Richardson Adult Literacy Center is a non-profit, 501-C-3 organization accredited by ProLiteracy. We train volunteer tutors, recruit adult students, and match students to classroom or one-to-one instruction. English as a Second Language instruction is offered to adults who live or work in Richardson or the Richardson ISD area. The Center also refers students to other programs and services that may better assist them.

Network will be open on Friday, Feb.19 and Saturday, Feb 20 from 9 am to 4 pm for emergency food box distribution! If you know a family within RISD zip codes who needs food, please share. We are also in need of volunteers and items to help fill our pantry as we are not receiving our regular food deliveries this week. Wishing you all warmth and power restoration! Below is Richardson warming center information:

In coordination with the Richardson Emergency Operations Center, the location of several warming centers is being announced for locations across the city. The operating hours of each location varies, but each will offer a place for people to retreat from extreme cold being experienced in the area due to severe winter weather.

People visiting a warming center will be required to follow COVID-19 safety protocols by wearing masks and maintaining distance from other groups. Limited charging stations will also be provided for electronic devices.
