Literacy is the key to a woman’s voice—and the ladder to her future. 🗣️📖✨

Today is International Women’s Day, and at the Richardson Adult Literacy Center, we see the power of women every single day.

For our students, success is a journey up the Literacy Ladder. Each rung represents a vital resource—from reading and digital skills to the confidence found in our Women’s In-Person Conversation Class. This class is a safe space for women to build their voices, share their stories, and connect with their community. 🪜💜

A night of mystery, a lifetime of impact. 🕵️‍♂️🏙️❤️

We are still catching our breath from Saturday's Fright Lotus Murder Mystery! It was incredible to see the Richardson Senior Center filled with so much energy, creativity, and passion for our mission at the Richardson Adult Literacy Center.

While we wait for the full professional gallery, we wanted to share a few "top secret" highlights from the night. (Make sure you watch the video to see the moment we officially announced Nathan as our permanent Executive Director! 🎊)

On Tuesday night, the Dialogue Institute Dallas hosted a beautiful Ramadan Community Iftar, and we were honored to have the Richardson Adult Literacy Center recognized as a vital part of our city’s fabric.

It was a powerful evening of fellowship featuring representatives from the Richardson Interfaith Alliance, including Mayor Amir Omar, and our very own Cris Haest (RALC Board Member) and Nathan Clark (Interim Executive Director).

The Dialogue Institute even gave a special shout-out to our Fright Lotus Murder Mystery this Saturday! It’s a reminder that whether we are sharing a meal or solving a mystery, our goal is the same: bringing our community together through communication and understanding. 📖🤝
