Juneteenth marks a pivotal moment in American history—a celebration of freedom, a recognition of resilience, and a reminder of the work that continues toward equality and opportunity for all.
We recognize the significance of this day and the importance of remembering the stories, sacrifices, and achievements that have shaped our communities and our country.

Today is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and appreciate the diverse voices and experiences that contribute to a stronger future. We are grateful to be part of communities built on collaboration, respect, and shared purpose.

As we commemorate Juneteenth, we encourage reflection on the progress made and the responsibility we all share in creating a more inclusive tomorrow.

Wishing everyone a meaningful Juneteenth.

The City of Richardson is pleased to announce that Celestica, a global leader in data center infrastructure and advanced technology solutions, will expand its operations at 2801 Telecom Parkway, reinforcing the city’s position as a hub for advanced manufacturing and technology-based employment.

The project will represent an estimated $300 million investment by the company and includes the renewal of their lease of two existing buildings and a new lease for a 343,000-square foot building currently under construction. Once completed, Celestica will occupy approximately 1 million square feet through 2036. The expanded campus on Telecom Parkway will support advanced manufacturing operations and reinforce the company’s long-term commitment to Richardson’s business community.

Celestica relocated to Richardson in 2022 and has experienced rapid growth since then. The expansion is expected to retain nearly 400 existing jobs and create nearly 2,300 new high-tech positions over the next two years.
