Truck Yard Richardson officially opens today, adding a new restaurant and entertainment concept to the city.

Located in Richardson Restaurant Park along Central Expressway between Floyd Road and James Drive, the new venue transforms a longtime property with food, daily live music, and outdoor gathering spaces. It also adds new activity to Restaurant Park as reinvestment continues in the area.

Projects like this require long-term vision, persistence, and commitment to move from concept to completion. We congratulate the entire Truck Yard team on reaching this milestone and appreciate their investment in the community.

We look forward to seeing Truck Yard become part of Richardson’s growing business landscape.

Richardson continues to build connections with innovators looking to grow in the U.S.

The 2026 Global Business Meetup Program visited The IQ®HQ to explore the city’s technology ecosystem and potential business expansion opportunities. Entrepreneurs from leading Korean technology universities represented industries including AI, software, healthcare, biotech, aerospace, energy and smart infrastructure.

As part of the visit, the delegation met with UT Dallas entrepreneurs from the Venture Development Center and IQ®HQ Catalyst to exchange ideas and make connections within Richardson’s innovation community.

Visits like this create opportunities to introduce international companies and entrepreneurs to Richardson’s talent, research institutions, business resources, and established technology community, while building relationships that can support future investment and growth.
