You can request brush and bulky item collection (BABIC) service and keep up to date with the latest news and events right from your Apple or Android smartphone. New to the latest version of the app is the inclusion of your water, trash and recycling days. The application uses the address you enter, into your profile, to give you your specific days. There are also more detailed tabs that will provide you with information about holiday schedules, collection points, how to deal with hazardous waste and more.

SCNA Phase II Trails Project Description
Updated on 07/24/2020

Construction is scheduled to begin on August 3 on phase II trail development in the Spring Creek Nature Area. This project involves constructing two new, separate sections of 10’-wide concrete hike and bike trail. These new trails will run on the east and west sides of the nature area.

The east side trail segment will be approximately 800 feet long and the west side trail segment will be approximately 1,300 feet long. These new trail sections will provide connections from the recently completed trailhead Portals down into the existing concrete hike and bike trail that transects the nature area near its geographic center.

The west side trail segment will have a section of raised concrete boardwalk. That specific part of the nature area has been identified as a wetland and the boardwalk will keep the trail up and away from the delicate vegetation.

Construction activity should only have a minor impact on use of the existing trails. At the two specific locations where the new trails will intersect the existing trail, there will be construction activity that will require closing the main trail down for less than 5 business days. This trail closing is not scheduled to occur until late August or early September. Also included in the scope of work will be the replacement of damaged sections of existing concrete main trail in various locations within the Spring Creek Nature Area. This will require brief closings of the main trail.
