Did you know?
In 1961, the Space Race 🧑🚀 was in full swing, and Yuri Gagarin became the first human to venture into space! Believe it or not, that same year, the Community Center at Augsburg Park was built.
Now, it’s time for an upgrade! Voting 'YES' for Richfield parks in the upcoming general election will fund exciting renovations for a larger, modern community center. Imagine fitness amenities like an indoor walking track, modern kitchens for events, and new spaces for seniors, adults, youth, and family programming.
Our neighboring cities—Bloomington, Minneapolis, and Edina—have already implemented a 0.5% sales tax for crucial infrastructure improvements. Let’s not fall behind in the space race for better community spaces! 🌠🏃♀️
Yes for Richfield Parks is a grassroots campaign to support investment in Richfield's parks system, through three 2024 ballot questions.
