🏺✨ History, Creativity & Community at Parks Memorial! ✨🏺

We had a wonderful group of adults join us this morning for Pinch Pots with Historic Westville Village! Participants learned about the rich history of pottery in Georgia before getting hands-on and creating their very own air-dry clay pinch pots. 🎨👏🏾

Programs like this are such a fun way to bring history to life while giving our community an opportunity to learn something new, get creative, and enjoy time together. A huge thank you to Historic Westville Village for continuing to be an amazing community partner and bringing these unique educational experiences to Parks Memorial Public Library! ❤️

Our 3rd installment of the Genealogy Series at Parks Memorial Public Library was a success! 📚🔍

During Genealogy Level 2.0, participants continued digging deeper into their family histories, learning new techniques and discovering resources that can help uncover the stories, people, and connections that make up their family trees. 🌿

We love seeing our community excited about preserving family history for future generations. Every name, photograph, document, and story is another piece of the puzzle—and y’all are becoming genealogy detectives at this point! 🕵🏽‍♀️😂
