🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

Please be advised that McBride Street at Old Highway 49 will be closed beginning Monday, August 31, at 8:30 a.m.

The closure is necessary while crews work to install a new water line. McBride Street will be reopened as soon as the work is completed.

Please use caution in the area and allow extra time for travel. We appreciate your patience and understanding while this important work is completed. ❤️💙

💧 WATER BILLING UPDATE 💧

The City of Richland would like to inform residents that a discrepancy was identified on some recent water bills.

The issue has been corrected, and updated water bills have been prepared and mailed to affected customers.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked to correct the issue.

💧 BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED - RIVERVIEW DR 💧

The City of Richland would like to inform residents that the Boil Water Notice for Riverview Drive has been lifted.

Water service has been restored to normal, and residents may resume normal water use.

OUTDOOR BURN BAN IN EFFECT - AUGUST 21

The City of Richland would like to inform residents that an Outdoor Burn Ban will go into effect Friday, August 21, 2026, and will remain in effect until further notice.

The ban has been issued due to extremely dry conditions and elevated wildfire danger.

🚫 All outdoor burning is prohibited, including:
• Yard debris
• Leaf and brush piles
• Household trash
• Campfires and bonfires
• Other open outdoor flames

Please help protect our community by informing others and avoiding all outdoor burning until further notice.

Please use the posted detours and allow extra time for travel through the area.

The closure is expected to last approximately four weeks, weather and other unforeseen circumstances permitting.
