The seniors at Richland Adult Day Center had a wonderful time enjoying an outing to see the Michael movie and breakfast at IHOP. It was a day filled with laughter, good food, great company, and an excellent movie.

As we gather with family and friends to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States, lets honor the veterans, services members, first responders, caregivers, and all those who work tirelessly to keep our communties safe and supported.

What an amazing day of learning and fun for our participants at Richland Adult Day Center! 🚀✨

We recently enjoyed an exciting outing to the Coca-Cola Space Science Center. We had the opportunity to tour the facility, explore exhibits, and learn more about space science and exploration.

The highlight of the day was creating and launching paper rockets! Participants put their creativity and engineering skills to work while enjoying a hands-on activity that brought smiles and plenty of excitement.

RADC collaborated with Stewart County Extension for a fun-filled craft activity making salt dough ornaments. Our seniors enjoyed mixing, shaping, and decorating their unique creations while sharing laughter and conversation.

Our seniors at Richland Adult Day Center had a wonderful morning exploring the Columbus Collective Museums!

There's something special about the nostalgia you feel walking through each exhibt. From familiar sights to unexpected treasures, it's a place where the past feels alive and meaningful all over again.

Outings like these are a great reminder that learning and discovery never stop.

Using scissors for seniors can provide powerful physical, cognitive, and emotional benefits. It improves hand strength and grip, enhances fine motor control, supports bilateral coordination, improves visual-motor integration, reduces joint stiffness, supports functional independence, boosts confidence and emotional well-being, and stimulates cognitive function.

Who knew using a pair of scissors had so many benefits!? What a fun way to engage in an occupational therapy session without even knowing it!

Our seniors had the best time creating flower bouquets just in time for Valentine’s Day! There was laughter, creativity, and plenty of pride as each handmade bloom came together. Every bouquet as unique and joyful as the person who made it. A little paper, a lot of imagination, and good company can turn into something truly heart warming !

A huge thank you to Stewart County Extension for your continued partnership, and thank you Stewart County Family Connections for the cups!
