Richland Housing Authority will have a 1 bedroom apartment and a couple of 3 Bedroom apartments available right around the 1st to the middle of April. If you are currently on the waiting list, please call and update your application. We fill our apartments from a waiting list. Our waiting list for all apartments is currently very short. Please pick up an application at 215 S Walnut any time. They are on the left just inside the first automatic door. You will need to bring in Social Security cards, State Certified Birth Certificates for all individuals who will be in the household. We also will need a copy of Drivers License or photo ID for(anyone over the age of 17 1/2, Income verification (SS, SSI, Child Support, if you are working please take one of the income forms next to the application and have your employer fill it out) and if you receive food stamps a copy of your letter.
The completed application can be placed in the drop box along with copies of all needed documents. If you need us to make those copies come in during normal business hours. M-F 7 a.m. to noon and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Richland Housing Authority will have 4 BRAND NEW studio/efficiency apartments available right around the 1st of April. If you are currently on the waiting list for a studio/efficiency unit, please call and update your application.

Richland Housing Authority would like to thank all (you know who you are) who have donated to our tenants that lost everything in the fire. We have plenty of clothing at this time. We will still welcome non-perishable food items and hygiene products as well as laundry products. Once again thank you to the community who came together for these people.

As you have probably heard we had a fire early this morning as one of our buildings burnt, displacing 3 households.

Anyone wanting to donate to these families would be appreciated. The Staff at Richland Housing thank you all. The following items can be left inside the entryway of our Central office or brought to us in the office on Tuesday.

Any household items such as dishes, pots and pans, bedding, towels, canned goods, toiletries, would be welcome for them as well.
