While you are always welcome to come and see the statue at Sunset Gardens, we would love to have you join us again this Memorial Day, May 25th, for their annual Memorial program. And as a bonus, Alexandra will be speaking again at this event. So come, have a reflective Memorial Day, see the 1200+ flags that will be posted around the cemetary, and remember those who have given their lives in the service of this nation.

Program starts at 11am, on Monday, May 25th, at Sunset Gardens 915 By-Pass Hwy, Richland, WA. The program is generally held in the grass area between the event center and the Veteran's section of the cemetary.

Some of our AHG troop joined in serving at the Wreaths Across America ceremony this morning, and helped lay some of the 900+ wreaths that were sponsored.

It is very exciting to watch as all of the details are falling into place, and watching the project come to life! The granite base is engraved and set, and the statue installation is SO close!

We are also excited to have Washington State Fallen Heroes Project here for the dedication. They will be bringing some of their Fallen Hero banners. Please be sure to make some time to take a look at them, say their names, because 'heroes aren't forgotten until their names are no longer spoken'.

We have also asked them to bring some of their shirts and sweatshirts for purchase, if you are interested in helping support an amazing organization that honors heroes, and supports their families. This is one of two organizations that are a big part of the 'Why' behind this project.

We can't wait to see you on Saturday for the dedication!

Join us this Saturday, Dec 6th, as we dedicate this monument to those who supported our Fallen Heroes. We would love to see any Gold Star Families that are able to attend, as well as anyone else that is able to come.
I would love to see you all there, as the two primary goals for this project are to help the community to know and understand the meaning of being a Gold Star Family, and what their sacrifice is, as well as honoring and aknowledging Gold Star Families, and helping them to feel seen and valued by their community.
If you know anyone that is a part of a Gold Star Family, will you please extend this invitation to them?
